Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Habib, from Amr ibn Haram, who said: Jabir ibn Zayd was asked about the Arab Christians: "Are their women lawful for the Muslims?" He said: "They are not from the People of the Book, and neither their women nor their food are lawful for the Muslims."
