Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yazid al-Rishk, who said: I asked Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib about a man who commits adultery with the mother of his wife. He said: As for the mother, she is forbidden, and as for the daughter, she is lawful.
