16273. Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I said to ‘Ata’, "A man marries a woman, then he does not see her and does not have intercourse with her until he divorces her; may he marry her daughter or her mother?" He said, "No, she is [considered] a 'Mursalah' (i.e., the marriage contract alone establishes the prohibition)."
