Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, from Qatadah, he said: Asim ibn Sa’id al-Hudhali informed me, from Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib, that Zayd ibn Thabit used to dislike that a man should marry the daughter of a woman whose mother had died while in his custody, before he had consummated the marriage with her.
