Yazid narrated to us, from Habib, from Amr ibn Haram, who said: Jabir ibn Zayd was asked about a man who buys a slave girl from the captives and has intercourse with her. He said: "No, not until he teaches her the prayer, the ritual bath (ghusl) from major ritual impurity (janabah), and the shaving of the pubic hair."
