Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:429

Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, from Yasar, the freed slave of Mu'awiyah, who said: A man wanted to marry a daughter of fornication (a girl born out of wedlock), so he asked a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about that. He said: "For me to marry her mother is more beloved to me than for me to marry her."
