Ali bin Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a man who has intercourse with his slave-woman while she has committed adultery: He said: He has the choice; if he wishes, he may have intercourse with her, and if he wishes, he may abstain.
