Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:452

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Jabir ibn Zayd and al-Hasan, that they both said: "His wife becomes forbidden to him." Sa'id said: Qatadah said: "That does not make her forbidden to him, except that he does not have intercourse with his wife until the waiting period ('iddah) of the one he committed adultery with has ended."
