Hadith 9:50
Narrated to us Salam and Jarir, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay, from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, who said: A woman came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the paternal cousin of my children proposed to me, but my father rejected him and married me off while I was averse." He said: So he summoned her father and asked him about that. He said: "I married her off, and I did not spare her any good." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "There is no marriage [without consent]. Go and marry whom you wish."
حدثنا سلام وجرير عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن قال جاءت امرأة إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالت يا رسول الله إن عم ولدي خطبني فرده أبي وزوجني وأنا كارهة قال فدعا أباها فسأله عن ذلك فقال إني أنكحتها ولم آلوها خيرا فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا نكاح اذهبي فانكحي من شئت
