Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:508

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Ubayd Allah, from Mu'adh al-'Ammi, that Shurayh heard the sound of a duff (tambourine), so he said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a duff."
