Hadith 9:51
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, that al-Qasim ibn Muhammad informed him that 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid and Mujammi' ibn Yazid, the two Ansarites, informed him that a man among them called Khudham married off a daughter of his, and she disliked her father's marriage [of her]. So she came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and mentioned that to him, so he rejected her father's marriage of her. Then she was proposed to, and she married Abu Lubaba ibn 'Abd al-Mundhir. And Yahya mentioned that it reached him that she was a previously married woman (thayyib).
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن يحيى بن سعيد أن القاسم بن محمد أخبره أن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد ومجمع بن يزيد الأنصاريين أخبراه أن رجلا منهم يدعى خداما أنكح أبنة له فكرهت نكاح أبيها فأتت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكرت ذلك له فرد عنها نكاح أبيها فخطبت فنكحت أبا لبابة بن عبد المنذر وذكر يحيى أنه بلغه أنها كانت ثيبا
