Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Ishaq, from Kurayb ibn Hisham—and he was one of the companions of Abdullah—that he married a woman for four thousand, then he consummated the marriage with her before he gave her anything of her dowry.
