'Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, that a man married off his daughter for one thousand dinars, and he stipulated one thousand dinars for himself. 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz judged for the woman [to receive] two thousand, and [nothing] for the father.
