Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:570

'Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad, from 'Abdah, who said: I asked about this verse: "And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion." He said: It is a man who has a wife, and her turn [for intimacy] has passed, so he makes a settlement with her regarding her right for something. So it is permissible for him, provided she is satisfied. But if she dislikes it, then he must either treat her justly, or satisfy her regarding her right, or divorce her.
