Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:574

Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibn Abi Razin, regarding the saying of the Exalted: "You may defer whom you will of them and take to yourself whom you will." He said: Among those whom he took to himself were Aisha, Umm Salama, Zaynab, and Hafsa. He would divide his time and his wealth among them equally. Among those whom he deferred were Sawda, Juwayriya, Umm Habiba, Maymuna, and Safiyya. He would divide for them as he willed. He had intended to separate from them, but they said to him: "Divide for us from your time as you will, and leave us to remain in our state."
