Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:635

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Qilabah, from ‘Umar, who said: If a slave woman is emancipated, she has the choice [to remain with her husband or leave him] as long as her husband has not had intercourse with her.
