Hadith 9:66
Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq and Malik ibn Anas, from Abdullah ibn al-Fadl, from Nafi ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The previously married woman has more right to her own self than her guardian. And the virgin is to be asked for permission, and her silence is her consent."
