Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:673

Al-Dahhak ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, regarding a man who married off his father while he was absent, and the father did not consent: He said, "The dowry is upon the son." If the father married off the son, and the son did not consent, then the dowry is upon the father.
