Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from Mundhil ibn Ali, from Ja’far ibn Abi al-Mughirah, from Abdullah ibn Abi al-Hudhayl, from Jarir, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have not reached you from the polytheists except with a slave girl, and I practice *azl* (coitus interruptus) with her, desiring the market (i.e., to sell her)." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "What is decreed for her will come to her."
