Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:725

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, regarding the slave woman who is had intercourse with: He said: "If she is sold or emancipated, he must seek to establish the innocence of her womb (istibra') with one menstrual cycle."
