Hadith 9:78
Khalid ibn Idris narrated to us, from Kahmas, from Ibn Buraydah, who said: A young woman came to Aisha and said, "My father married me to his brother's son to raise his low status, and I dislike that." Aisha said to her, "Wait until the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) comes." When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came, he sent for her father and placed the matter in her hands. She said, "Since the matter is now in my hands, I have permitted what my father did. I only wanted to know whether women have any say in the matter or not."
حدثنا خالد بن إدريس عن كهمس عن بن بريدة قال جاءت فتاة إلى عائشة فقالت إن أبي زوجني بن أخيه لرفع خسيسته وإني كرهت ذلك فقالت لها عائشة انتظري حتى يأتي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فلما جاء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أرسل إلى أبيها فجعل الأمر إليها فقالت أما إذا كان الأمر إلي فقد أجزت ما صنع أبي إنما أردت أن أعلم هل للنساء من الأمر شيء أم لا
