Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:789

'Abdah narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from al-Ahnaf, that 'Umar and 'Ali said: "If he closes a door or lowers a curtain, then she is entitled to the dowry and she must observe the waiting period ('iddah)."
