Hadith 9:80
15983. Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The orphan girl is to be asked for permission regarding herself. If she remains silent, that is her permission. And if she refuses, then there is no authority over her."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اليتيمة تستأمر في نفسها فإن سكتت فهو إذنها وإن أنكرت فلا جواز عليها
