Waki’ narrated to us, from Mughaffal, from ‘Ata’, and Yazid ibn Harun, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade that a woman be married [at the same time] as her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt.
