Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:880

Hafs narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Zuhri, that a man committed adultery with a woman, and they were both unmarried (bikran). Abu Bakr flogged them both and exiled them. Then, he married her to him after a year.
