Shababa narrated to us, from Layth ibn Sa’d, from Ibn Shihab, from Habib, the freed slave of ‘Urwa, from Badana, the freed slave of Maymuna, from Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to have intimate contact with a woman from his wives while she was menstruating, if she had on a wrapper (izar) that reached the middle of her thighs or her knees, tied around her.
