Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who marries a woman, then commits adultery before he has consummated the marriage with her: He said, "They are to be separated, and she has no dowry, and he is to be flogged one hundred lashes and banished for a year." And if he commits adultery, they are to be separated.
