Hadith 14:105

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Yazid ibn Hayyan, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: A man from the Jews bewitched the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, suffered because of that for days. Then Gabriel came to him and said: "A man of such-and-such from the Jews has bewitched you; he has tied knots for you." So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent Ali to them, and he extracted them and brought them. Whenever he untied a knot, he found relief because of it. Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood up as if he had been released from a tether. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, never mentioned that Jew, nor did he ever see him to his face.
