Hadith 14:124
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Zakariyya, from Amir, who said: Ibn Mas’ud saw a *fassa* (a charm or amulet) on his son for fever, so he cut it off. And he said: "There is no *ruqyah* (incantation) except for the evil eye or a *humma* (venomous sting)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن فضيل عن زكريا عن عامر قال رأى بن مسعود على ابنه فصة من الحمى فقطعها وقال لا رقية إلا من عين أو حمة
