Hadith 14:144
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from al-Zuhri, from Tariq ibn Abi al-Mahasin, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: A man was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who had been stung by a scorpion. He said: "Had he said, 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created,' he would not have been stung, and it would not have harmed him."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن حجاج عن الزهري عن طارق بن أبي المحاسن عن أبي هريرة قال أتي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم برجل لدغته عقرب فقال أما أنه لو قال أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق لم يلدغ ولم يضره
