Hadith 14:149
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from Muhammad ibn Hatib, who said: I crawled toward a pot of ours, and my hand was burned. My mother brought me to an old man in al-Batha and said, "This is Muhammad, and his hand has been burned." He began to blow upon it and speak words that I do not remember. When it was during the reign of Uthman, I said, "Who was the old man you took me to?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا شريك عن سماك عن محمد بن حاطب قال دببت إلى قدر لنا فاحترقت يدي فأتت بي أمي إلى شيخ بالبطحاء فقالت هذا محمد قد احترقت يده فجعل ينفث عليها ويتكلم بكلام لا أحفظه فلما كان في إمرة عثمان قلت من الشيخ الذي ذهبت بي إليه قالت رسول الله
