Hadith 14:155
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Asim ibn ‘Ubayd Allah, from Ziyad ibn Thuwayb, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered upon me while I was complaining [of an illness]. He said: "Shall I not perform *ruqyah* (incantation) upon you with a *ruqyah* that Jibril taught me? In the name of Allah, I perform *ruqyah* upon you, and Allah heals you from every ailment that harms you, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عاصم بن عبيد الله عن زياد بن ثويب عن أبي هريرة قال دخل علي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأنا اشتكي فقال الا أرقيك برقية علمنيها جبريل بسم الله أرقيك والله يشفيك من كل أرب يؤذيك ومن شر النفاثات في العقد ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد
