Hadith 14:163
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ahmad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Abu Shihab narrated to us, from Dawud, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Sa’id, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, fell ill, so Gabriel performed *ruqyah* (incantation) upon him. He said: "In the name of Allah, I perform *ruqyah* upon you from everything that harms you, from every envious person and [evil] eye. May Allah heal you."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الله قال حدثنا أبو شهاب عن داود عن أبي نضرة عن أبي سعيد قال اشتكى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فرقاه جبريل فقال بسم الله أرقيك من كل شيء يؤذيك من كل حاسد وعين والله يشفيك
