Hadith 14:178
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from ‘Urwah ibn ‘Amir, from ‘Ubayd ibn Rifa’ah al-Zuraqi, he said: Asma’ said to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): "The evil eye hastens to the children of Ja’far, so should I seek Ruqyah for them from the evil eye?" He said: "Yes, for if anything were to precede the decree, the evil eye would have preceded it."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن عيينة عن عمرو عن عروة بن عامر عن عبيد بن رفاعة الزرقي قال قالت أسماء لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إن بني جعفر تسرع إليهم العين فأسترقي لهم من العين قال نعم فلو كان شيء سابق القدر لسبقته العين
