Hadith 14:182
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shababa narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi’b narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Umama ibn Sahl, from his father, that ‘Amir passed by him while he was bathing. He said, "I have not seen the like of today, nor the skin of a secluded virgin." He [Sahl] fell down, such that he did not regain consciousness due to the intensity of the pain. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was informed of that. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, summoned him and became angry with him. He said, "Why would one of you kill his brother? Why did you not invoke blessings (barakah)?" The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, commanded him regarding that, saying, "Wash him." So he washed him, and he went out with the riders. Al-Zuhri said: This is from the knowledge: the one who afflicted him with the evil eye is washed for him. He said: A vessel of water is brought, and he puts his hand into the vessel, then he rinses his mouth and spits it into the vessel. He washes his face in the vessel, then he pours with his left hand onto his right palm, then with his right hand onto his left palm. Then he puts his left hand in and pours onto the elbow of his right arm, then he washes his left hand, then his right hand, then he washes the knees. He takes the inside of his lower garment and pours it over his head in one pouring, and he does not set the vessel down until he empties it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا شبابة قال حدثنا بن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة بن سهل عن أبيه أن عامرا مر به وهو يغتسل فقال ما رأيت كاليوم ولا جلد مخبأة فلبط به حتى ما يعقل لشدة الوجع فأخبر بذلك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فدعاه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فتغيظ عليه وقال قتلته على ما يقتل أحدكم أخاه ألا بركت فأمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بذلك فقال اغسلوه فاغتسل فخرج مع الركب وقال الزهري هذا من العلم يغسل له الذي عانه قال يؤتى بقدح ماء فيدخل يده في القدح فيمضمض ويمجه في القدح ويغسل وجهه في القدح ثم يصب بيده اليسرى على كفه اليمنى ثم بيده اليمنى على كفه اليسرى ويدخل يده اليسرى فيصب على مرفق يده اليمنى فيغسل يده اليسرى ثم يده اليمنى فيغسل الركبتين ويأخذ داخل إزاره فيصب على رأسه صبة واحدة ولا يدع القدح حتى يفرغ
