Hadith 14:189
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Mujahid, who said: I used to suffer affliction from seeing the ghoul and the devils, and I would see phantoms. So I asked Ibn Abbas, and he said: "Attack it upon what you see, and do not be afraid of it, for it fears you just as you fear it. And do not be the most cowardly of the two black ones." Mujahid said: So I saw it, and I leaned upon it with a staff until I heard its fall.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو أسامة عن الأعمش عن مجاهد قال كنت ألقى من رؤية الغول والشياطين بلاء وأرى خيالا فسألت بن عباس فقال أجزه على ما رأيت ولا تفرق منه فإنه يفرق منك كما تفرق منه ولا تكن أجبن السوادين قال مجاهد فرأيته فأسندت عليه بعصا حتى سمعت وقعته
