Hadith 14:203
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, he said: Imran bin Hudair informed us, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: Imran bin Husayn used to forbid cauterization. Then he was afflicted [with an illness], so he cauterized himself. After that, he began to lament, saying: "I cauterized myself with a cautery of fire, which neither relieved any pain nor cured any sickness."
