Hadith 14:246
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha’, he said: Abu Qilabah described to me the description of the antidote (tiryāq). He said: Men will come out wearing wooden sandals, and in their hands will be something he mentioned. They will hunt snakes, then they will wipe what is near their heads and their tails so that whatever blood there is may collect. Then they will throw them into a pot and cook them; that is the best of the antidote.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن خالد الحذاء قال وصف لي أبو قلابة صفة الترياق فقال يخرج رجال عليهم خفاف من خشب وبأيديهم شيء قذ ذكره فيصيدون الحيات فيمسحون ما يلي رءوسها وأذنابها ليجتمع ما كان من دم ثم يطرحونها في القدر فيطبخونها فذلك أجود الترياق
