Hadith 14:253
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Fulayh bin Sulayman narrated to us, from Ayyub bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abd Allah bin Abi Sa'sa'ah, from Ya'qub, from Umm al-Mundhir al-Adawiyyah, she said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me, and Ali was with him, and he was recovering from an illness. We had bunches of dates hanging. She said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood and ate, and Ali stood to eat. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Slowly, for you are recovering." She said: So Ali sat down, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ate from them. Then I prepared for them chard and barley. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to Ali: "From this, eat."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال حدثنا فليح بن سليمان عن أيوب بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن أبي صعصعة عن يعقوب عن أم المنذر العدوية قالت دخل علي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ومعه علي وهو ناقه ولنا دوالي معلقة قالت فقام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأكل وقام علي ليأكل فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مهلا فإنك ناقه قالت فجلس علي وأكل منها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم صنعت لهم سلقا وشعيرا فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لعلي من هذا اصب
