Hadith 14:259
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, from Abu Jamra, he said: I used to push the people away from Ibn Abbas, then I was detained for some days. He said: "What detained you?" I said: "The fever." He said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The fever is from the scorching heat of Hell, so cool it with Zamzam water.'"
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا همام عن أبي جمرة قال كنت أدفع الناس عن بن عباس فاحتبست أياما فقال ما حبسك قلت الحمى قال أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن الحمى من فيح جهنم فأبردوها بماء زمزم
