Hadith 14:273

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Mutawakkil al-Naji, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my brother’s stomach has become loose (he has diarrhea)." He said: "Give him honey to drink." So he gave him to drink, then he came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I gave him to drink, and it did not increase him except in looseness." He said: "Give him honey to drink." So he gave him to drink, then he came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I gave him to drink, and it did not increase him except in looseness." He said: "Give him honey to drink." Then, either on the third or the fourth time—I think he said—he was cured. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Allah has spoken the truth, and your brother’s stomach has lied."
