Hadith 14:46
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, who said: Ibn Mas’ud saw something on one of his family members that they had hung [as an amulet], so he tore it off them violently. And he said: "Indeed, the family of Ibn Mas’ud are free of need from shirk (polytheism)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال رأى بن مسعود على بعض أهله شيئا قد تعلقه فنزعه منه نزعا عنيفا وقال إن آل بن مسعود أغنياء عن الشرك
