Hadith 14:80
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Khalaf ibn Khalifah narrated to us, from Abu Hashim, from Nafi’, who said: Ibn Umar had a Bactrian camel, and it became ill. It was prescribed to me that we should treat it with wine. So I treated it, and then I said to Ibn Umar, "They prescribed to me that I should treat it with wine." He said, "Did you do it?" I said, "No, although I had already done it." He said, "As for that, if you had done it, I would have punished you."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا خلف بن خليفة عن أبي هاشم عن نافع قال كانت لابن عمر بختية وانها مرضت فوصف لي أن نداويها بالخمر فداويتها ثم قلت لابن عمر إنهم وصفوا لي أن أداويها بالخمر قال ففعلت قلت لا وقد كنت فعلت قال أما إنك لو فعلت لعاقبتك
