Hadith 14:88
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, he said: Ayman ibn Nabil narrated to us, from Umm Kulthum bint 'Amr, from 'Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You must use the disliked-yet-beneficial thing, meaning Talbina. For by Him in whose hand is my soul, it washes the stomach of one of you just as one of you washes his face of dirt." And whenever anyone of his family complained of illness, the pot would not cease to be on the fire until one of the two ends came to it [i.e., until the person either recovered or passed away].
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا جعفر بن عون قال حدثنا أيمن بن نابل عن أم كلثوم ابنة عمرو عن عائشة قالت قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عليكم بالبغيض النافع يعني التلبينة فوالذي نفسي بيده إنه ليغسل بطن أحدكم كما يغسل أحدكم وجهه من الوسخ وكان إذا اشتكى أحد من أهله لم تزل البرمة على النار حتى يأتي على أحد طرفيه
