Hadith 14:95
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Hakam, from Sa’id bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, he said: If a woman finds her childbirth difficult, then these two verses and words are to be written on a plate, then it is washed, and she is given it to drink: "In the name of Allah, there is no god but He, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne. 'On the day they see it, it will be as if they had not tarried [in the world] except for an evening or its morning.' 'On the day they see what they are promised, it will be as if they had not tarried except for an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will any be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?'"
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن بن أبي ليلى عن الحكم عن سعيد بن جبير عن بن عباس قال إذا عسر على المرأة ولدها فيكتب هاتين الآيتين والكلمات في صحفة ثم تغسل فتسقى منها بسم الله لا إله إلا هو الحليم الكريم سبحان الله رب السماوات السبع ورب العرش العظيم @QB@ كأنهم يوم يرونها لم يلبثوا إلا عشية أو ضحاها @QE@ 1 @QB@ كأنهم يوم يرون ما يوعدون لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من نهار بلاغ فهل يهلك إلا القوم الفاسقون @QE@
