Hadith 14:98
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Someone who saw Sa’id ibn Jubayr writing amulets (ta’widh) for those who came to him informed me. Hajjaj said: And I asked ‘Ata’, and he said: "We have not heard of any dislike (of this) except from you, the people of Iraq."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا [ هشيم ] قال حدثنا حجاج قال أخبرني من رأى سعيد بن جبير يكتب التعويذ لمن أتاه قال حجاج وسألت عطاء فقال ما سمعنا بكراهية إلا من قبلكم من أهل العراق
