Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:107

'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from al-Sha'bi, who said: When Ja'far arrived from the land of Abyssinia, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab met Asma' bint 'Umays and said to her: "We have preceded you in the migration, and we are better than you." She said: "I will not return until I come to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)." She said: So she entered upon him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I met 'Umar, and he claimed that they are better than us and that they preceded us in the migration." She said: The Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Rather, you migrated twice." Isma'il said: Sa'id ibn Abi Burdah narrated to me, saying: On that day, he said to 'Umar: "It is not as he says. We were driven away in the land of the distant and the hateful, while you were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he would admonish your ignorant ones and feed your hungry ones."
