Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:12

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hisham, who said: Shayban narrated to us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Aisha and Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stayed in Makkah for ten years, during which the Furqan (the Quran) was revealed to him, and in Al-Madinah for ten [years].
