Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:149

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Hashim al-Wasiti, from Abu Mijlaz, from Qays ibn ‘Abbad, who said: I heard Abu Dharr swearing that these verses were revealed regarding these six men on the day of Badr: ‘Ali, Hamzah, and ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Harith, and ‘Utbah and Shaybah, the two sons of Rabi’ah, and al-Walid ibn ‘Utbah: "These two opponents who have disputed regarding their Lord."
