Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 36:15

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Khalid, from Ammar, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was sent [as a prophet] when he was forty years old. He stayed in Makkah for fifteen years and in Al-Madinah for ten years. He was taken [in death] when he was sixty-five years old.
